It's hard to imagine that many travellers underestimate the city of Metz... and that's precisely what makes it so charming! During my last short weekend in the former garrison town, just under an hour from Luxembourg, I realised once again how much this city has been continuously upgraded since the construction of the ‘Centre Pompidou-Metz’, a “Dépendance” of its big Parisian brother. During the 2025 "Lighting and tyres" campaign, the ACL inspected 5,749 vehicles, 26.5% of which required on-the-spot adjustments or were found to have non-compliant tyres.

Im Jahr 2025 organisierte der Automobilclub Luxemburg (ACL) zwei Ausgaben des Kannersëtzbazar, einer Veranstaltung, die sich dem Wiederverkauf von gebrauchten Kindersitzen und Sitzerhöhungen widmet. Insgesamt wurden 431 von 678 abgegebenen Kindersitzen verkauft, was einer Quote von 63,5 % entspricht. Ein voller Erfolg.
The Road Patrol Training for Excellence 2025 crowned the team from Touring (Belgium) as this year’s winners. The ACL patrol team achieved an excellent 7th place out of sixteen competitors, confirming once again its consistently strong performance compared to last year.
